Notes: In part 1, I said that the coil where the garter weaves in and out is for the heaters, no. I was wrong. They're actually what holds the seat up while keeping it springy and cushy. It's the bottom of cushion/springs, not heater coils. In part 4, I said that an old car charger for your phone wont work because of the thin wires, it's actually not true. I'm not sure if I corrected myself in the video but the reason why it won't work is because of the charger's internals. There's a small board in there that regulates the 12v and x amount of amps into whatever volts and 1 or 0.5 amps that way your phone's battery won't get cooked. This instructional/walk-through video was done as I installed the DVD headrests for the first time. It took me approximately 4-5 hours due to distractions, walking back and forth to the house to get things, filming the video, and finding different ways to do things neatly. The only "mess" in this whole install are the electrical tape residue which I cleaned afterwards. Hopefully, you can learn from my mistakes (all the trial and error I went through) and do yours in half the time. It's definitely possible. This video might also help you out even if you drive a different vehicle or have a different DVD headrest system. Aside from the finer details, the concept should be similar. Attaching Clasps is a basic and essential technique for neatly ending off your necklaces and bracelets, and allowing you to easily put on and remove your jewellery. Continuing from the basic technique of crimping, for this we will need flexible metal wire, crimps, flat nosed pliers, side cutters and any type of clasp. Types of clasps include fob clasps, boltring clasps, hook and eye clasps, screw clasps, among many others. The most basic clasp is the parrot clasp, which is what we will be using here. You simply take your wire, thread a crimp onto the end of it. Then you bring the end of the wire up through the loop at the end of the clasp, bring it back around and thread the wire back through the crimp the other way. Pull the wire gently to make sure the crimp is sitting closely to the clasp. Following this, you squash the crimp onto the wire and cut off the loose piece of wire with a pair of side cutters. Repeat the same technique on the other side of the necklace with the other side of the clasp.

Just a little bit showing my home made hot wire cutter and how I use it to cut out depron foam rc plane parts. more info at www.1bad69.com For everyone commenting on using a lipo for this: Lipos (at least ones used for RC stuff) can commonly handle high current loads. In this case it was at least a 10C 1300 mah, which by definition can sustain at least 13 amps. Where you have issues with lipos is pulling to many amps from it. A direct short will attempt to pull many more than 13 amps, and things will start puffing and melting. My circuit is NOT a direct short. It contains stainless steel wire, which is a poor conductor, and has a high resistance. This resistance is what causes the heat that cuts the foam. Changing the length of the wire will change the resistance which changes the amps drawn and the heat created. I SHOWED in the video, checking this with an amp meter, to show that it is only pulling 2 amps!! well below what this lipo can provide. IF you make sure you are pulling less amps than what the battery can provide, there are no issues!!
