DIY CNC Enclosure Cutting Tutorial - Probotix Fireball V90

DIY CNC Enclosure Cutting Tutorial - Probotix Fireball V90 Video Clips. Duration : 10.32 Mins.

In this video I show how I went about cutting the front panel for a plastic ABS enclosure from Radioshack. I cut holes for switches, a keypad, and an lcd character display. I go through the the steps to make it. I start with thinking about it and getting a better idea of what I want to make. Then I take dimensions of the parts. Next I use the dimensions to create a 3D model and then export the model as a 2D dxf for CamBam. I use CamBam to create the tool paths and G-Code. I then cut that part and show it as a finished design. There are many techniques that I discuss in the video which are very valuable to learn if you haven't already seen them.

Heartfelt ♥ Necklace - Jewelry-making Tutorial Video Clips. Duration : 5.98 Mins.

This necklace was a request by the lovely Clare (Youtube username: larceca9). She asked for an American Eagle style necklace so I visited their website. I found this heart charm necklace that I really liked and decided to make a similar necklace. Of course, I couldn't find the exact materials they used, but I searched around and found some pretty good substitutes. I hope you enjoy! Chainmaille Tutorial Part 1: The Tools and Coiling Wire

on Tuesday, December 18, 2012
Chainmaille Tutorial Part 1: The Tools and Coiling Wire Video Clips. Duration : 10.00 Mins.

A video showing the technique and the basic tools for making a chainmaille coil, which can then be cut into open rings for weaving chainmaille. The first of two initial parts. List of things to get started: #1- 2 pairs of pliers #2- Mini bolt cutters #3- Wire (1/4 mile of Galvanized steel is only at Tractor Supply. The cheapest I've found so far. That should be enough wire to make a complete hauberk.) #4- Smooth Metal Rod #5- Power Drill w/ .5" chuck (unless your going the hand-powered mandrill route which produces better rings at a slower rate.) #6- Leather Work Gloves (good for guiding wire onto the rod when winding rings.) All in all, it shouldn't cost more than for the equipment. After that, wire is really cheap if you buy it in 1/4 mile spools. Otherwise, you can buy various different kinds of wire metals from theringlord.com
